Phoenix Android Generation 5 Now released

Went ahead and purchased the new version. After talking with them, they said it could be months or next year by the time they update to Android 10.

Their actual response:

not sure at the moment, not all units will be upgrade to android 10 in next few months, may be next year

They so stated that you cant upgrade the android version after they have shipped out.

I don't feel like waiting as I'm already waiting for Morimoto headlights to come back in stock

Thanks man, sounds like they got the screen lock up when starting cold issue fixed. it was annoying and made me remove my old updated 6 core unit.

I just saw they have a new one coming out, looks like they are going to put the A/C controls back into this unit:

so this is no longer the PX6, it is a Sc7862
we'll see how the new one is when it comes out. I just caved and ordered the 13" Sc7862 6 g ram with 128 g rom android 10 with built in carplay and android auto with the actual a/c controls on it. they also have a discount going on now of 20% with discount code NY2021 so it was $643.50, now I just have to wait for it to actually be made and shipped.

*edit. hmmm, this one has 4G LTE and 5 GHz wifi. very interesting. might have to create a new thread for the new, new phoenix.
