... I see the same trucks out at every event in my area, and the biggest raptor event is not even 200 trucks...

I don't do events, but I'm off road a lot, getting to good places to hike. On road a lot too, as it's a wonderful daily. But your point is valid, out of the three other owners that I've met personally, only one goes off road, and it's for hunting, not playing. So my personal sample says 50% go off road, but I live in an area where going off road is easy and convenient. The percentage that goes to events I'd guess at something like 1%, but I might be high. Way high.

Wow! There's some sensitive folks on here. I'm just pointing out how amazingly capable this truck is and that most owners, myself included, barely scratch the surface of that capability. And yes, my truck stays very detailed most of the time and it is a real pain in the ass to get all of that mud off particularly from underneath, but hey it's hunting season in South Carolina and it's freaking muddy.

But back to my original post, the vast majority of raptors will barely ever go off road and if you are one of the folks that replied so defensively and with such viciousness I suspect my post hit a little close to home and you're butt hurt.

I use mine its in a glass bubble when I change the air I sit in it . So ya mine is very well used.

Just a guess based on how FRF used to be here.

GEN1 probably 15% and mods to help go faster off-road

GEN2 probably 5-7% (half) that considering they made more so % would be lower. And mods mainly for cosmetic purposes.

You are probably pretty close on your numbers.

The more interesting question IMO, is how many owners spend $10k to $20k in mods to help go faster off-road and still never take their truck off-road?!?

Same here.
Cool part with my job is that it often involves setting up and maintaining targets. Invariably, when it’s rainy or a rough range, everyone looks at the dude with the Raptor to run targets.

I never push back until one of them “offers” to drive. With this mileage in my career, I know there’s always at least two guys who go down range; one to drive the truck, and one to ride in the bed and huck steel.
