This is a common issue for new Raptor owners, and particularly when you are driving around the uneducated masses of unwashed peasants in their peasant cars. It’s really envy more than anything.Unless you’re in Texas, where it is a custom to say “hi” to each other with your off road lights on road. It’s the TX equivalent of the “Raptor wave”. Instead of actually waving, you just hit the up fitter on your most powerful lights. If you really want to be friendly, you just leave them on. I know now, when I am not in the Raptor I almost feel like I’be being rude with just high beams on all the time. We’re a friendly lot here in Texas.
