Has anybody ever painted their calipers on here? I think painting them red would look awesome but I dont know anything about how to/what to use.

Do not paint your brake pads or the part of the rotor that comes into contact with them! Anyway I am assuming you meant calipers which I have painted mine using a high heat paint they also have a specific caliper paint available at auto stores.

Oh yes I meant Caliper. Thanks. What color did you use and is there any part of the caliper that can't be painted? Did you spray or brush it on?

Generally you just tape off the lines and the pistons on the inside, then just go to town on it with a high temp caliper paint. I am sure there are tons of videos on youtube showing how to do it.

And dont forget to clean it with brake cleaner first.

I painted mine silver didn't want them to stick out too much. Just taped them off and used a high temperature paint for headers I think it was rated for 1600 degrees.
I painted the Rotor at the same time so it doesn't get all rusty and ugly.

What kind of preparation involved?

So, from reading I see G2 caliper kit is recommended. I have Tux black with blue accent interior package with blue LED accent LED's inside. From what I have seen their blue paint matches the blue on the Fox shocks. Wonder if going with blue calipers would look awesome?? If not I guess I could always paint over the blue with RED.

I'm a big fan of SVT red on the calipers, especially if you already have done the little side vent mod to match.
