That's assuming it's a bath pit. A lot of plants now are moving to a 2 stage paint system from a 3 stage. BMW has already done it for their X Series vehicles. Basically they have gotten rid of the primer step and just have a paint and clear stage now. It's also a dry set up and are not using the downdraft/waterpits. Kinda weird, but when I was in the plant back in September they had just started using the new booths and said they are working out great...only time will tell how well it will work without a Primer stage (I'm not convinced).
