Any update on how this issue was resolved? I have the same problem coming out of an engine rebuild on a JDM 700 Roush Raptor that broke down in the Mojave Desert in 2021 after hitting a whoop a little too fast. The truck hasn't been the same since the rebuild, running lean on the Bank 1 and 2 sides with MPG showing 6.5 when reality is closer to 9.5. I have replaced every part related to the air intake, emissions, and fuel delivery system and the truck still threw CELs for running lean. The truck sat in two performance mechanic shops for 12 months and they could not resolve the issue. Then I brought the truck to a Ford dealer that had the truck for 18 months and could not resolve the issue. Eventually I gave up and took the truck to a dyno tuner who created a custom tune that is different from the Roush 575 and JDM 700 tunes I used for the entire life of the truck. Although the truck hasn't show any lean codes since, my MPG calculation is still off, showing 6.5 MPG when reality is closer to 9.5. I am now getting a PCM code for P0148 for Fuel Delivery Error. It is starting to become more apparent to me that the recent dyno tune is just masking whatever the underlying issue is with the truck. Other than the PCM code for Fuel Delivery Error, the truck runs great with one exception. After not driving the truck for a week at a time, I sometimes feel the engine stutter and the wrench symbol appears on the dash with no codes. Sometimes this wrench symbol is accompanied by a P061B - Internal Control Module Torque Calculation Performance check engine light. I had my dyno tuner inhibit this CEL code from appearing, but I still get the wrench symbol after extended cold starts (less often). When the wrench symbol appears, the engine runs very rough and is sluggish to respond. The only way to clear this is to pull to the roadside, turn the truck off, remove the key, open and close the door, and start the truck again. The wrench symbol is then cleared and does not reappear for the rest of the day. It seems to me that whatever causes this is a result of the truck battery being at a lower charge after sitting from a week, and does not reappear when the vehicle is warmed up or has been driven within the last couple days. The fuel delivery error code and wrench symbol may be related. Is it possible that my Powertrain Control Module is faulty and needs to be replaced? I'm just shooting in the dark here and have run out of ideas.
