A few years ago there was a couple 2011's on ecoboost.net with over 300k miles.
I don't remember - I want to say the UOA's looked good but I ruled it out based on price and the relatively low number of UOA's available at the time. I know there were some not-so-great results for one of the "premium" brands (e.g. Amsoil, Royal Purple, Red Line, etc.) either for sport bike engines or the MZR platform (2.3L DI turbo which evolved into the 2.3 EcoBoost) but I can't recall which brand or platform.Where did the Amsoil place in your research?
People do. I don’t simply because it isn’t pure synthetic, it’s a blend. Personally I use Schaeffers 9000 and really like it.So ..... no one uses regular motorcraft stock engine oil lol?

Red line is king. Just big $$. You’re probably safe going 5k on mobil1 or EP, and can probably safely go to 8-10 k with redline. High moly content is the big additive in that oil. When are you planning to change the oil in the diffs/Trans ?I was a little concerned when I saw the recommended interval went from 5k for Gen1 to 10k for Gen2. I have only changed the oil twice and ODO is rolling up on 28K. I think I will start doing every 5k from here on out.
I do use Red Line synthetic as most of the other supposedly synthetics in my opinion are not to the same level. Mobil 1 is pure junk. I guess I am biased but having been involved in Nitro Drag bike racing and NASCAR the only lubricants used were Red Line on everything, grease, trans oil, diff lube, and motor oil.
