Mine is at 4K miles and I'm averaging about 1 quart every 1000 miles. No leaks or smoke. I check the oil every Sunday morning and it's been solid at half-quart low every tank.

You got a problem. Better take in for repair and eval

2018 and 3K here. 2,000 of those miles are from purchasing in Missouri and driving it back to Ca. Changed my oil at 2,500 and have a JLT separator. Nothing in the separator and not having to add any oil.
