Looking at different storage options to carry gear and spares. I will not be using a canopy so must be able to load and unload for adventures. Bypass shocks on order so will not be able to use a decked type of system. Don't feel like a need much so looking at maybe a Pelican case or 2 strapped down in the bed. Think the Home Depot plastic crates will not hold up to high speed whoops.

But wanted to see what everyone's go to is.

I know there is that rack system that members put on the insides of the box for tracks, shovels and fire exstinguishers, you can still mount a bedcage with those shocks for 2 spares, jack and gas cans. I think you can mount a cooler still on most of those bed racks as well. You can always get underseat rear storage for all of those loose items: rope, shackles, first aid, etc. I've seen other members with those camo blankets with pockets all over the place that attach to the seats as well. Could always get a roof rack too! OR tow an open trailer, lol.

I have thought a lot about all of those options as well. But nothing where I have gone, "yep that's it." So still looking around.
I’m currently using some Plano boxes and they are holding up pretty well. Very durable for “cheap” totes.

They are small so I can pick on up at a time and carry them. When I ran a single tote I had to have help carrying it.

Roam totes are very nice, so may want to check them out.

I guess we should ask, what are you looking to carry/ store?

Here is a picture of my more recent set up.

In all likelihood all you need is a couple pelican, roam (pick your brand) cases strapped down.

I have a giant one full of gear strapped down, fits under a tonneau cover. comes out when needed.
If you need two or three, there you go. and doesn't cost a ton.

I don't need to look like i'm taking on the baja 500 at all times.

If you feel the need, strap your spare down to the bed as well.

You can do this without dropping 2k
