I have no good response to any of this but as a spreadsheet nerd, I respect the heck out of it. That being said, I have a 10y/100k warranty + 10y maintenance plan @5k intervals with full synthetic on my 2022 and still shove Sunoco 93 up in there.

So for my Starbucks runs, keep running Costco 87 octane! At today’s prices with 4% back on gas, let me run the math. Been getting 18 mpg average on first 12k miles. That was the first 6k on Costco 93 octane, no change. 10k miles per year divided by 18 mpg is 555.55 gallons of gas. 555.55 multiplied by .42 cent/gallon, is a savings $233.33. Top tier gas served fresh daily with so many customers! No engine knock to boot! I am upgrading to a venti today!

95% 87 octane. not top tier gas. ( i use top tier for 93 when i offroad and tow and then use redline S1 before every oil change to clean the engine)
truck is fine
dont overthink it.

i go by dyno tests , the gen 3 showed 30+ hp from 87 to 91
Got a link? Genuinely interested in see the results of this dyno.

That would toss a wrench into C&D saying they say a 20hp gain going from 87-->93.

do we really care about MPG in a Raptor?
Ultimately, no. If it were just about MPG, tossing the highest octane in would make the most sense without much debate.

As someone who has only put 93 in mine, I was more questioning whether the benefits are there for running 93 vs 87 if the engine internals are warrantied out to 175k. The delta between 87 and 93 where I live has been about $1 a gallon for the past few years.
