**Sorry if this should be posted in another place I can gladly move it if needed.**

Hey guys! brand new to this forum and im shopping around for a Gen 2 currently. I came across this on auto trader and wonder if in the off chance someone here has owned or knows anything about this truck?

https://www.kiavacaville.com/used-Vacaville-2017-Ford-F+150-Raptor-1FTFW1RG2HFC56552

It looks likes a decent deal but I hesitate because it has 3 previous owners, one of which only owned it for about 4k miles.. Another issue is i live in Utah and this is in California so it makes checking it out physically before buying it a little tricky. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Either about the truck itself or if anyone has been in a similar situation.

Thanks!

Price seems steep.... could get a new one for one comparably equipped for only a couple $k more, with full warranty and better financing.

(that's autotrader search I used to find mine, just Raptors with 802a).

I just bought mine after looking at over 800 Raptors. You'd be surprised how many have had 3 owners.

This deal looks good to me. CarFax looks good.

That seems pretty wild for a 2017 with more than 5000 miles. I got an avalanche SCAB with 23k a year ago all loaded up like that for 50k. Don’t shop in California for a raptor.

Yeah 67k is unreasonable. My I looked up NADA, KBB and had my bank run the vin and all came in around 62k for this one. I was mainly worried about the amount of owners for the mileage but maybe thats not as big of a concern as the 6k premium they are asking. Ill keep looking around then I just tried looking out of state because this Avalanche grey is pretty rare and I've only seen a couple personally where i live driving around but none for sale since I've been looking. Thank you guys for the replies! I got pre approval from my bank so maybe ill just sit around and hope something pops up before the 60 day period the offer is good for ha.

I appreciate it! did you end up buying from out of state? California is kind of weird. Apparently if i wanted to drive it off the lot back to Utah i would have to pay California state tax. Also Utah state tax once i registered here. So obviously not gonna do that. But other options were to ship it or have them take it to Nevada where i could then drive it back from. Kind of a pain

I actually lived in California when I bought both 2011 and 2019...neither was the world's most amazing deal but both were couple K under sticker... at time I found some in TX, SD, and ME but was so busy with work cost-benefit wasn't there to do it.

Definitely don't even consider CA if they want to charge tax...it's 7.75...and then you also have to pay tax in your state. And generally speaking closest good Raptor prices for CA residents are a minimum 1,000 miles away.

Why do they say rare trim?
I got a brand new 2020 802A in the NY area for 70K. Might sound steep, but that was a great deal around here.

Im not sure what they mean by rare trim. maybe since Avalanche grey was only in 2017? It does have the carbon fiber and the orange accented seats but other than that im not sure. Certainly shouldn't command a 7k markup over the book value.
