That's a beautiful car, but that sound is not wow.
This is what the GT should sound like:

To me the new Escalade and siblings look like an enlarged Ford Flex. I can't get over the boxy look. So I took my $80k and voted on a Ford Raptor. Coming out of having 4 Escalades over the past years I have to say I really enjoy My Raptor. Yes the Escalade was faster of the line but there is just something about the Raptor that I like better. Maybe because I can run over shit and not care about scratching up my pretty chrome 24's. I hit a curb in the Raptor and I say oh well only scuffed my sidewall, no harm.I prefer the look of the new Escalade to any full size FoMoCo SUV. I prefer the Ford pickups look over the GM's though, 14's or 15's.
If the ecoboost engine is good enough for the Ford GT...It's good enough for the Raptor IMO.
Bad logic. The only reason the GT is getting a 3.5 is because of Le Mans class rules, not because it's the best engine for the job or because that's the engine anyone wants in their performance car (or truck, which weighs a lot more than a car).
Here's what the EB sounds like (basically like nails on a chalk board):

If you don't care about physics or sound, then the EB will be your cup of tea. The rest of us will wait for them to put a real engine in the truck.
That's the 2.7 ecoboost. Also the HO ecoboost 3.5 will be different from the current 3.5 EBBad logic. The only reason the GT is getting a 3.5 is because of Le Mans class rules, not because it's the best engine for the job or because that's the engine anyone wants in their performance car (or truck, which weighs a lot more than a car).
