You can see close up in this video at 42 seconds how high above the exhaust tip they sit and even with the tow hook at this angle. However, you can flip them upside down (which the light can be turned in any direction) and that raises them by putting the mounting point on the bottom and makes them sit barely under the bumper.But like I said.
