Grew up in Amarillo. TT Lubbock. Miss it. Wide open spaces with tons of dirt roads. Canadian River north of Amarillo is good. Lil Sahara is awesome. It's been awhile, but there are a few 4x4 OffRoad shops in town - they are very helpful in pointing you in the right direction. Seriously, though - you will not want to miss the Texas Raptor Run weekend. It's a game changer. Likely over 100 Raptors this year

Update: Finally, got my truck, built on 03/13 - delivered on 03/27. Picked up in Waco on Friday, that was the closest dealer that was willing to let me use one of their allocation at $250 over invoice. I absolutely love this truck, so much fun to drive. Cant wait to attend some of the meets, hopefully I will be able to attend the Texas Raptor Run.....sound like a lot of fun . Thanks for the info Motu I will have to check locally, for anything going on here.

I have since moved from Midland but there are a few guys on here who meet up @ Outback Adventure just outside Midland more so Stanton) off I-20. I think they posted something up recently in he Southwest section. I would also check out Rowdyrides.com. It's a Midland/Odessa car site but we do have some Lubbock posters.
