Guys, I've never owned a pick-up trucker, ever...
WTF, this thing is a tank.
Picked her up with about a foot of snow fall this evening here in Denver
I've mentioned this before but she's a 10/22/16 build
Originally placed an order from Brighton Ford here in CO, but had no build date/VIN
Went with Freeway Ford in Denver
Released 12/21, shipped 12/26, picked up by dealer at Union Pacific rail head today, 1/4/17
SuperCrew
Shadow Black
802a
Moonroof
Tech Package
Heated Steering Wheel
Heated Second Row
Tailgate applique
Tailgate Step
Forged Wheels
All I can say i wow, what a perfect way to drive home in a blizzard.
I was concerned about the BFG's AT tires. I also have a BMW 3 series with X Drive and dedicated snow tires (Bridgestone Blizzaks) and so far these have been comparable. Did some slamming on the brakes, took her hard on turns and the feel is similar to a sedan with tires that have microgrooves. We'll see how the ice traction holds up when I hit the mountains this weekend.
More to come but all I can say is the truck looks so much more bad@$$ in person. Much more intimidating than any of the pictures I've seen and just big in general.
Well worth the wait.
More pics to come!
