New raptor wait time after order

I ordered a new 2018 ford raptor in mid September from my local ford dealership. I was told it would take 6-8 weeks to deliver. its now been 10 weeks and the dealer can only confirm that Ford has my new truck listed as "in production". Anyone else have experience with how long this process takes?

Ask you dealer for your vin#. If he has the vin you can call ford performance can get a status update. If he does not have a vin then in all likely hold your dealer does not have allocation for another raptor at this time and your order has not started yet. I ordered mine in early oct and it was built last week. Expected to the dealer dec10-16

Did you order with carbon fiber, bead lock wheels or an 800A package?

Those are low demand, high delay orders.

Ordered in mid June, delivered to dealer October 18th

Like smurf said, some options cause a delay. The vast majority of Raptors I see around SoCal have BL wheels though, so at least around here demand for that isn't low at all.

My order took slightly longer than someone else who ordered from the same dealer at the same time because I had Carbon Fiber though. I also opted for the orange accented interior.

Ordered mine 9/28 SCREW 800A with Torsen front diff, spotlight front mirrors and remote start. Current tentative build date of 12/13, the sad part is, the dealer had two orders after mine and they've already been delivered.

I ordered mine 9/7 delivered 11/7. Exactly 8 weeks. I had a vin within 2 weeks. With that Ford Performance gave me a build week if 10/23 and it was built in 10/26.
