New Raptor Under invoice, would you buy?

Hey FRF, finally able to get into a Raptor, and want to take advantage of the great deals out.

Ive come across a 2018, screw, pretty much even option I could ask for minus carbon fiber package. Sticker of almost $73,000. I am able to purchase it for $1,100 BELOW invoice. ($65,800 +++)

Heres the kicker, my heart was set on Lead foot, but this is Ruby Red, which I do like, but the closest optioned Lead foot I could find price wise is 4,500 more than the Ruby Red one.

I know colors are VERY subjective, but looking for advise. Thanks!

Buy the truck you like the most. Like you said, color is subjective, and so is its importance to the buyer.

Personally, RR is a great color and while I might prefer LF more, $4,500 can buy you some sweet mods that will make you forget about the color.

I have Lead Foot and it is only one I would have bought at time of purchase and it sounds like you might not be happy with the red one. Because this is such a special and expensive truck getting the right color can be very important as you may have it for a long time

Leverage the leadfoot dealer off the red one. Life is too short to have the wrong color raptor. You will be disappointed.

Either ask the dealers to trade that way you’re still buying it from the dealer willing to give it to you under invoice. Or have the red one wrapped, there are quite a few vinyls that are the same or super close to lead foot. Yes that will cost you some and bring the price to becoming near identical, but you will also be protecting the paint. Try having them trade, if that doesn’t work then you can wrap it.

Even with the discount you’re spending a lot of money, get the truck you want. Even though there’s not that much of it I love my carbon fiber.

We had Ruby Red and Lead Foot when I bought mine. I went Ruby Red, I love the 2 tone effect and the hood stripes pop on it.

I drove 4 hours and paid 3k more for the Race Red Raptor I bought, because I knew I wouldn’t be happy with the Lightning Blue Raptor that was 20 mins down the road from me.

I too considered wrapping the truck, but its hard to get excited about buying a new truck when you are already thinking about changing the color.
