New Raptor ride quality question

Hey guys... I have a question on ride quality on the Raptor off-road. I'm seriously considering the 2017 Raptor as my next vehicle and am wondering how this will ride on really really bumpy roads.

For example, on our last trip to Colorado going through mountain passes and back roads there are just a ton of rocks and pot holes where you normally can only drive at about a walking pace or you get beat up after awhile. My hopes are that along with airing the tires down a bit to soften them, that the Raptor will soak that up and make it more pleasurable to do 4-6 hours a day of driving on these trails. Usually they're "rapid" bumps and potholes.

Lighter, softer tires, improved suspension.

Can't see other vehicles(stock) performing as well as the Raptor in terms of ride quality on or offroad.

The Raptor will be WAY better at handling these roads. Washboards, potholes, etc will be what you are looking for!!!

we travel fire roads almost daily, raptor no problem, ride as you would expect. wifes beemer, not so nice.

Thank you for responding. It seemed like the Raptor had a much softer suspension to soak up the bumps. Probably the reason for the reduced towing and hauling numbers I would suspect. As I get older I'm starting to lean more towards ride quality. I'm hoping this vehicle would probably provide one of the best ride and experiences for really bumpy terrain.

I have a Jeep TJ Rock crawler and a Raptor. The ride quality on bumpy road does not compare. The TJ will leave you tired and sore. The Raptor you can sip a beer and have a conversation with no problem.

Also, I've been on bumpy roads with another normal F150. He was getting rattled and jostled to death. I was just fine and had to constantly wait for him. The Raptor gets softer the faster you go.

Maybe you can do the flutter valve upgrade with the 3.0s Foxs? I've heard that helps tremendously at small travel bumps and the initial susp movement.

That sounds interesting. Never heard of that before. I'll have to google on that for more information.
