After putting 22,000 fairly hard miles on our Infiniti QX56, we decided we needed another vehicle to help out. Our 2012 Vette looks pretty, but other than that and an occasional lead foot, it's kind of worthless. Grocery shopping, nope.Towing the boat, nope. Picking up a couple friends, nope. So, we decided to start looking for a Raptor, which is the truck I really wanted... after my hubby showed it to me. We found a couple red ones online (to match our boat). and he tried to work numbers as much as possible over the phone, but we ended up having to make the drive to a couple dealerships before we were even close. Well, close ended up being $5000 low on our Vette, but after leaving, then talking to the sales guy, they offered us enough to get the deal rolling. I had no idea that they weren't marking the trucks down at all... in fact several dealers we called were marking them up. So, after swallowing our pride, we accepted their price of full sticker on a 2013 Raptor.
They wouldn't even throw in a bedliner... but he did offer a hat and t-shirts. So, it's heading back on Wednesday for the spray in, then off to get the windows tinted on Thursday.
Hubby says we can't take it out this weekend with the boat, says it needs more than a couple hundred miles before we pull a 5000 lb boat. But, I hope it's ready for next weekend!
So, anyway... I'm Alysha, and that's my life story... well, for this week, I guess.
Here's a few pics of the outgoing and the incoming:
