New Raptor did not come with tailgate plate for ramps

Hey guys my Raptor came with the bed extenders which I think are broken but I wasn’t planing on using them anyway. I did want the stowaway ramps which my dealer did not have so I ordered some from another dealer on eBay. I watched videos on how neat it was how they connected to the tailgate by sliding into the lip. I noticed today which I just got out of bed to double check that my tailgate does not have that plate with the lip to connect these ramps when they come in. The dealer had a spray in bed liner done but it doesn’t have the plate. Is this omitted on the Raptor or something I have to add myself which I can’t find so far. Or something the dealer just left off and I need to go request.
as of now I’m not going to be able to use my ramps when they come in.

The plate comes with the ramps and you have to change it out. Go back to the dealer, he owes you the plate.

I got my ford oem ramps on eBay for around 500 I think. It was probably 200 less than at the dealer. And mine came with the replacement plate with the built in bar to attach the ramps. Maybe you threw it out in the box?

Correct as said above the tailgate plate comes with the ramp kit and you have to install it. A Raptor without the ramps as a factory option would not have the tailgate plate included. Sounds like the Ebay seller sold you an incomplete ramp kit that was missing the tailgate plate.

Hi.. how much were those ramps from the dealer ?

from the dealer he lied and said his cost was $700 because I found them from another dealer on eBay for $600 that says he has sold about 80 of them.

Thanks guys for your reply’s which answered my question, even though I was misunderstood. I did not know the plate was coming with the ramps. I’m still waiting on them to come from a dealer I bought them off of on eBay.
my local dealer did not have them and had told me his cost was $700 while we were negotiating trying to get him to take back the extenders and give me the ramps instead. I knew that could not of been his real cost. anyway, I was not sure about the plate which is why I was confused, thinking the tailgate came prepared with the lip to slide the ramps into. Sorry for the confusion but thanks for answering it my question.

And know it comes with black replacement screws with larger washers but some of mine would not tighten.
