Hey all! Im a few months into gen1 ownership and loving it (Came from a 2006 F150 5.4L 3V), and im trying to piece together raptor/6.2L specifc maintenance timelines. Not service manual intervals, but real life feedback on things to address to keep the truck going long term. The truck is a 2013 and currently has 98k miles, and doesnt appear to have a lot of major maintenance done. My plan: In the next couple of months / next 10k miles ish - New shocks - Spark plugs, coils, wires - Front + Rear Diff fluid change - Trans fluid and filter change - Transfer case fluid change - New Idler Pulleys (dealer installed new belt and tensioner when I bought it) - New P/S Pump and hoses (Pump is on its way out. Replacing with OEM for now as LEE is out of the budget currently) In the next 18mo or so: - Radiator hoses, water pump (prevenatative) and radiator (Got a great deal at Advanced Auto on these parts) - Brakes when needed (will flush fluid and do PowerStop upgrade at that time) - Alternator (also got a killer deal on OEM from Advanced so going to toss it in preventatively at some point) - Suspension upgrades will slowly happen, so not putting leaf spring bushings on there as deavers will happen eventually, as will a UCA at some point. I will have to do lower ball joint and lower a arm bushings as needed. Questions: 1. Anything Missing Above? Anything in the normal 100-125k maintenance or catchup maintenance that I should be paying attenion to? 2. Valve springs I see a lot of info on preventative Valve spring replacements. When should that be done by ideally? 3. Timing System. Coming from the 5.4L 3V (where I did phasers, tensioners, chains, etc myself) I am overly aware of timing systems. Any known issues with the 6.2L in that area? Ive read guides can be an issue, but not many are discussing that. 4. Lead Frame I know, elephant in the room. Should I change this out preventatively or wait for it to fail? I do not see anything on the carfax about this so im assuming it hasnt been done, and since its a 2013 its out of the window of warranty. Yay. 5. Fuel Injectors Another killer score at Advanced closeout was oem injectors for $6.99/ea. Ive never needed to replace injectors on a vehicle before. Any logic in replacing these with coils/plugs preventatively, or should I just keep these on hand in the event of a failure?
