ED1129E4-F237-42E1-88BE-2C3F78A151D4.jpeg Hey guys. New member in Jersey. Originally from South Carolina. Been looking for trucks for the past two months and after test drives. Raptor first or second gen will be the ticket

I currently have a 2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS and don’t want to get rid of it or trade it in so thinking first gen. If I have to, I’ll go second gen.

looking forward to the conversations! I promise to search before posting!

Welcome to the place. There are a few trucks for sale on here. Take a look in the for sale section. @Frogger22

Thanks! I have noticed the for sale section, still not the right time to buy for me but soon!

Welcome aboard. Hope you find once soon.
Thank you and hopefully I will!

Hello and welcome from NJ! Raptor population is growing around here
Yes sir! I actually test drove the Lead Foot 2018 at Englewood Infiniti and that sealed the deal. I also really liked the 2012 I drove and have noticed quite a bit of Raptors in the Northeast Jersey area.

I started a new career in High end home Construction management and feel the need of a truck is warranted. I don't need a SD 3/4 ton truck and felt the bed size on the Raptor is fine for drywall, 2x4 8 foot sections and general materials. Plus I used to Offroad a 3rd gen 4runner and want to travel out west and explore like I used to!

The debate really is just whether I trade in and get the 2nd gen or add a higher mileage 1rst gen to the stable. Decisions... decisions...

Porsche owner as well. Wife loves her Cayenne. I just bought a silver gen 1 supercab. Can’t wait for it to get delivered.

good luck with your search. If gen 1 make sure to check for rust. I really only considered southern owned examples.

Love the 996, is that the factory aerokit I see?

Thanks for the advice, the one Gen 1 I saw had some rust in the front near the lower A arms but it looked to be surface rust and minimal. When I am a bit more serious I'll get a PPI done and fully inspected.

Jersey City is a bit snug for a Raptor.

Better move down South or out West.

Yea, we are actually looking at houses right now. My apartment complex has a parking lot and my spot has room so I could park it there. Most likely house first, Raptor second.. We are looking at Somerset, Bridgewater, Teaneck, Morris Plains, Randolph and Rockaway. I know that those are spread out
