I had a maintenance package (oil change , filter top off all fluid)  as part of my purchase from the dealership when I was on my last one the rep came out and said I needed four new shocks $4k + . My reply was let’s go look , the tech under my truck showed my how clean my shocks were and how they had a little oily feel . I told the window licker that rode the short bus  tech it was just cleaned with WD40 . I did everything myself for about 10 years and got lazy took it to a dealership for a parking brake cable . It took the idiot 5 weeks and me flipping out along with a rental car & flatbed tow to get it fixed they also charged me for two air filters at $80 each and I have a K&N . The best thing to do if you’re not comfortable doing it yourself is to find a local mechanic with experience and excellent reputation . Gen 1 is an easy truck to work on use this form and YouTube some great problems solving tips and directions.</p></blockquote><p></p>
