New member and first Ford ever owned.

Hello everyone. I have just purchased a nice 2011 Raptor Supercrew 6.2L to use a my work truck here in Northern Alberta, Canada to run down the Oilfield lease roads to check wells. I have owned aprox 35 GM's in my life and this is the first Ford product I have ever owned. I wanted a truck that would handle to rough roads and daily abuse so I bought a Raptor.
The truck I bought has 97000kms on it and bone stock. I'll be adding a 40" light bar behind the grill this weekend, its booked in for a spray in box liner. Now deciding on What intake & exhaust to use. So far I'm thinking a Volant intake and a JBA side swept exhaust. From what I've read on here it sounds like a 5 Star tune is the best.

Welcome aboard! I'm sure plenty of us are very curious what your impression is of the Raptor after being able to compare it to so many GM vehicles. You've found a good group of guys here to help lead you in the right direction regarding mods...although from your initial response, it sounds like you've already invested some time in researching the Raptor and the top mods. Keep us posted!
