Haha I’m a month in and don’t regret it! Of course my M5 is still in the garage as well for a few more months but haven’t driven it except for a few short bursts. Their is no comparison two completely different vehicles and you have to appreciate them for what they are

This is going to be interesting. The forum is peppered with previous German luxury car owners who regret the move to the Raptor.

Please keep us posted... usually takes a month or two for it to set in.

Congrats OP! And I came from a 328xi and I cannot imagine not driving my raptor absolutley no regrets. Got mine November of last year.

8 years ago I went from an S55 AMG to a Platinum F150 and liked the pickup WAY more. Driving home last night my wife made the comment that she loves driving the 911, but she actually has more fun driving the Raptor!

It will be an adjustment, but i have owned a 2006 Ram 3500 Cummins (Upgraded Turbo, Injectors, HPFP, Duel Disk Clutch, Custom Tune) 6 Spd in the past and familiar with fit and finish differences. However, this will be my first Ford.

I recently got my wife a 19 Honda Pilot and think Fords fit and finish is so much better than Honda. Even though the damn Pilot was 55K!

This is going to be my new DD. Fit and finish won't be the same compared to BMW, but Ford has done a good job at upping their game on overall quality over the past few years that I've heard from many friends.

For me i want something fun that i can use with the family, haul stuff around with my Dogs and Kids.

This is the one i test drove. Saleman was a really cool guy, but not buying this one. He was cool with me being honest about buying out of state at MSRP.

Very nice M5, those HP/TQ numbers are nuts! Although it won't be as fast as the M5, you'll have a blast in the Raptor. There's something about driving it that's just straight-up fun, even if you're not flooring it. The truck just has a "presence". Good luck with the purchase!

The M5 is just insane how fast it is. Raced many E-85 GTR's, Lambos etc and highway pull car is a best. 4.76 60-130.

Can smoke my R888r's in 5th if i want.

Life is short though and really looking forward to the Raptor.

Think i'm going to wait a few years and pick up a lightly used M3CS and do a full build on it with roll cage. The guy who built my turbos and motor has his own line of turbos (Kratos Turbos) and put down 1,163whp in his M3. Will be able to use the truck to haul it to the track and have best of both worlds!

I would suggest at least getting the Recaros which of course come with the Carbon Fiber and Blue Accents.

That base interior is going to be a huge difference compared to your M5 (understand of course that the F10 M5 interior was a bit dated prior to the 2018 update). The Recaros will give it a since of higher end uniqueness... and the Blue looks pretty sharp contrasting with Magnetic.

I just wish the Recaros came in all black. Not a fan of the blue accents.

I had Recaros in my 13 S4 and 14 RS5. Great seats. To be honest i found the 'normal' black leather seats in the truck i test drove yesterday comfortable enough. In pics it the Recaros looks to only have a bit more side bolstering and are larger around the shoulder area. Am i correct or is there more to them? More adjustable etc? also are the Recaros Cooled?
