I just bought a 6K HID bi xenon headlight kit & a bunch LED bulbs from Fyre Flys on Ebay & couldn't be happier with them. I got 6k bright white to amber LED switchback running to directionals & they are just awesome & very very bright. I did all the interior bulbs with LEDs & cab/bed lights & the rear tailight/running & back up lights & after reading about how many people on here were disappointed with their Recons tail & back up lights being dim that they changed back to their regular bulbs. Mine are so bright that you can barely look at the back ups. The headlight kit is a HUGE improvement over the stock shittyass Ford headlights.

Ducatis?

you will find out that with just sticking HID bulbs in the stock Headlights that there is no way for the light to be projected to where it needs to be

you can potentially cause someone to run off the road or worse that is why we have guys out there doing professional retro fits such as Sick Hids and Ducati.

and at least where I live it is illegal and will draw the attention of the man

Yea I know ducati is the best option but u don't have the 700+ laying around to have mine worked on so I got a plug n play bi xenon kit from a guy I know for under a 100 bucks and it pretty much tripled the light from the stock bulbs. I also live in an area where the cops won't bug u about them

I couldn't disagree more with the part about the light not going where it's supposed to be going. Basically we're taking out the candles that Ford calls headlights & installing a brighter bulb in the stock housing & as long as your headlights are set up correctly & you don't go with some mental color (purple or green) you should never get pulled over with them. We have a 2010 Escalade & had 2008 Mini Cooper S (which I sold to buy my Raptor) & both have factory projector bi-xenon headlights & they are just as bright if brighter than the 55wt HID kit that I installed in the Raptor. The light pattern at night is virtually the same as with the stock headlights it's just way brighter but again no brighter or any more offensive than the HID headlights in our Escalade or our Mini. Some of us don't have a grand to spend on Ducati's retrofit headlights. A friend of mine has them & I love them & would love to put them in my Raptor too but in my opinion they are way overpriced. Sorry Ducati

I have to agree with Digger, I've done the simple bulb upgrade several times on a variety of different vehicles with excellent results. The light pattern is always the same and it does make a significant improvement over stock lights. The Ducati lights are incredible but I just don't personally see the need to spend that much.

To each their own gentlemen, I just pray to God that you do not cause anyone any harm with these light kits, for me anyway the expense of getting mine done was for my piece of mind. it is worth it to me to spend the extra money on a Truck like these for the best lighting possible and to ensure that I do not hurt anyone by blinding them on the roads
