Hello all! This is my first experience in a Forum and I'm not exactly sure if I'm doing things correctly. I joined this Forum because I would like to buy a 2017 Raptor Super Cab in the fall. It is the only extended cab I can fit into my garage. Regular cabs don't come with a floor shift and my present Sport Trac and the Rangers aren't in production anymore. If it's not a Raptor, I might have to buy a GMC Canyon. I can't seem to find answers to my Raptor questions and I hope you folks can help. I am a senior citizen with severe arthritis. I want to install AMP Research Power Boards. Is there a Raptor owner out there who has these boards on their truck? If so, I'd like to know the distance from the ground to the top of the top of the step and then from the step to the floorboards of the Raptor. I'm trying to determine if I might need to buy the XL model in order to add a few more inches to the drop. I tried to crawl into a 2014 Raptor with the OEM running boards and handle a horrible time. Getting out was worse with the pain to the knees. Can someone out there help? I am not sure how to answer, so you might not hear from me again. THANKS!

I have them, they help my wife and son get in a bit easier. Personally I prefer the stock ones but they are somewhat of a necessity e62b1b8c65a4fed99e873e6b7f21e1e0.jpge9bf8ce588edc9a352e41084f950c7d3.jpg

Keep in mind I sit a bit higher than stock. I run icons and wsi had springs for figure I'm at lease 2-2.5 inches higher

Thanks SlimChaChi The photos are fantastic and are a tremendous help. I think the regular AMP Power Boards will do the job. Now my only problem is do I know how to get this reply back to you for the help you have given.

No worries bud happy to help. If you want an even longer option look into the AMP powerstep XL. They drop down even lower and provide some protect along the door that the standard power steps do not.
