Hey folks...

New guy checking in. My wife and I just picked up our loaded Tuxedo Black 2011 Raptor SuperCrew last night from Two Rivers Ford in Mt. Juliet, TN. For the 16 or so hours that I've had it now, I've thoroughly enjoyed it.

Looking forward to having some time this weekend to get to know the truck and likewise looking forward to getting to know some of you folks here and learning more about the beast that now occupies 1/2 of our garage.

Here she was the day before we picked her up:



I'm a lifelong "Car Guy" and have owned more than I care to think about over the past few years. 2003 Mach 1, 2010 FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Edition, 2011 Titan Pro-4X... just some of the more recent. These are somewhat famous last words for me, but I honestly do not see the Raptor leaving our ownership. It does everything I want and more, and is probably the best combination of offroad prowess and daily driveability that I've seen or owned yet.

Yeah, I had heard about your Raptor and other vehicles from some of the other SVOTA-N guys. I actually helped build their web site back when it was just a handful of folks meeting at the old Hermitage location.

I'd like to check your truck out sometime. I drive mine every day too, to and from work, up and down I-24. It makes the ride bearable.

Nice pics. I wanted my truck without the graphics, but it's the only one relatively near me with all of the other options I wanted. I talked the dealer into not charging me for the side decals and we made the deal. I fully intended on taking off the decals (sooner rather than later to avoid any potential paint fade/mismatch). But, now they are growing on me. Good to see what my truck would look like without the vinyl. Still holding out as an option...
