Hey all, I already introduced myself on the FB group but time to make it official here. I became a first time Raptor owner about four weeks ago when I bought my 2012 from a dealer in Mystic CT. It had 32k miles on it, I have already added a couple to that total and loved every single one of them. It came with a K&N CAI (removed already, going a different route) and a Corsa exhaust, otherwise it was stock. I added a tonneau and bed extender, and plan on adding HID lights and other lighting (including some actual foglamps). Here's some pics (largely the dealer ones).

It has just about every option I wanted, I had planned on finding a red one, but fell in love with the white at first sight. It has spent most of its life in NJ, then some time in centerville MA before me.

Welcome and congratulations!
Having lived in northern Vermont, I recommend getting a case of HD metal protector; get under the truck and start spraying...

I know what you mean there!
The strategy I have used on my Jeeps over the past 10 years is to regularly wash underneath. Then very spring climb underneath and go over the whole chassis removing any trace of rust and repainting. I also check over the underside of the body similarly too. It doesnt stop the rust but it certainly keeps the bad stuff at bay if you do it every year. I did oil inside the frames too.

I'm planning on doing the same with the Raptor - though I suspect its gonna take me a lot longer to do that the Wranglers did!

I want to do the mid-perch mod but the current corrosion on the shocks (from being up here in the rust belt for three years) is already putting me off trying. I may wait a little bit and swap some new or rebuilt shocks in.
