New member and owner of a ‘17 in Avalanche. Been a rough start, but all is well now. Picked up a ‘17 with 57,900 miles. Each time I went and drove the truck at the dealer they conveniently went and got the truck for me. Once I got it home, cold start rattle was awesome. Took it in and just made it under the 60k powertrain warranty. They swapped out the cam phasers under warranty. I paid for the timing chain and tensioner. Dealer was terrible. (purchase experience in particular). I won’t buy another vehicle from them ever again.Truck starts without rattle and is amazing. Came from a ‘16 F-150 2wd sport with the 2.7. Loved that truck. Still getting used to the strange shifts of the 10 speed tranny.Overall, I’m happy with the truck.
