I picked up a 2018 last weekend. I was able to detail the engine bay and did a one stage paint correction. I may be answering my own question here but am trying to see if anyone has a better one step polish recommendation. I did a citrus bath, medium yellow clay then I used chemical guys vss with an orange hex logic pad with my DA. Followed that up with jet seal using a black hex logic pad. From a distance is looks great but up close and under lighting I am still seeing the swirls and some pin striping. In the past I used m105 and m205 … but was seeing if there was something better out there. I don’t think it is bad enough that it needs wet sanding, but wasn’t sure how far I can push the paint.

Awesome lift, bruh. Took me a while to be able to get the 17 up. i gotta admit, I had to start with the rear first.

if you call “a little” 4 gallons.

DAMN. you best be getting some curb feelers!

If I could make a suggestion: Maybe paint over the primer grey first, before all that hard work ;-)

Hahah love the comments … I promise it’ll be dirty in a few weeks … the undercarriage is soaked in CG Barebones as well lol … makes it easier to clean after offroading … that’s why I was hesitant to do a full on cut/polish, but seeing how the one stage did I didn’t know if anyone had better results with something other than CG VSS

Cool. Just so we’re clear, a trip to Margaritaville does not count as off roading ;-)
