I have a 2020 scab raptor with non bead lock wheels. I’m looking to get some new wheels and I have been researching the 800 million threads.

I don’t really want to screw with my stock suspension for a few year but I want black wheels or dark wheels. I’ve been researching different wheels and learning about offsets and terms like hubcentered and forged etc. This is where I’m lost...

It appears the method 313’s will work best for me with the +25 offset on my stock tires. However, they are part of the street series...how will these compare to my stock NON bead locks? I mainly drive the street but do go out to big bear and fire roads with buddies from time to time.

Will the 313’s be a good option? Will I lose off-road performance? Thanks!

Nope they seem like very good wheels - they are lighter than stock and have bead grip technology which are grooves to help secure the bead of the tire when aired down. The +25 313 looks like a pretty great all around wheel to me.

I thought that was only on the zero offset 701/702 series wheels

Curious about the different a between the 313’s, the stock wheels and say the alphaequipt’s. The 313 and the alphaequipt have the same +25. I don’t know anything about alphaequipt.

Been selling wheels for a long time and I can tell you that you should focus on:

1) what looks good to you
2) offset/backspace depending on the look you want

If you're wanting to keep the wheel more inside the fender well (much like stock) then stick with the higher backspace wheels. I personally went with the CON6 from METHOD with a 6.10" BS. Doesn't really give a stance like a "0" offset but it doesn't rub off-road and keeps the side of the truck clean/free of rock chips. Yes these are part of the "street" series but having a wheel with a thick ring does provide some bead safety/retention. I have no experience with the "trail" series in field so I can't speak on those.

In terms of losing off-road performance vs your factory wheels you won't lose any IMHO. In over 15 years of off-road driving never had a bead break on me. Lot of it comes down to driver, knowing your rig, and using the right pressure for what you're doing.

Just my two cents!
