I am finally ready to buy a winch for my RSP bumper from N-FAB. My question to all fellow Raptor owners is the Smittybilt X2O-10K Waterproof Wireless Winch Gen2, is it worth buying? My next concern is first will it fit on the N-FAB bumper? From what I have read, for the money it is worth it. Also too, is a 10k lb winch big enough for a Screw Raptor? I don't plan on having to use it too much just want peace of mind when on a trail. I have already called and talked to the people at N-Fab, they were super nice but could not confirm if this winch or if any winch would properly fit their bumper. I thought that was kind of strange. But anyhow just looking for some help. And yes if I could, I would of course rather have a Warn winch. But I have little baby girl on the way due at the end of January so my pockets are feeling a little shallow at the moment.

I have heard good things about that winch. Like Yukon I run Recon 10,500lb winch. Have used it in some rather tough extractions. No complaints with it. I like the synthetic cable because if a winch line fails at least it won't kill anyone.

Ok. Well I guess I will be ordering it soon enough. I will post some pics when I install it. Thanks for the info guys.
Contact Roger @RSiWORKS. He sells them.

How do you plan on mounting the winch? If you're looking for a winch plate, WSI, outlaw and SDHQ make good ones. Have heard the rough county one is good too, but haven't seen that one in person yet, and I'm skeptical on the steel thickness.

Thanks Joe,
@XxWarEaglexX

I have the smittybilt X2O 10k on my truck and love it. It has done quite a few recoveries including pulling me out of a pretty bad situation.
I've had mine for I believe 3 years now with zero issues. I have one of the earlier ones so I don't have the wireless remote like the new ones come with which is a major bonus.
Also I just installed a Rough Country winch mount and it's super nice quality for sure, on the stock bumper there is a bit of trimming needed but very nice all around. Unfortunately that is one item I do not sell but if you'd like a quote on the Smittybilt winches let me know.

Thanks
Roger

I think it mounts to the 4 holes on my bumper. But I am not sure about that. It looks like the 4 holes on the front side of the bumper are where the fair lead mounts to. If you dont mind send me a quote. I know everywhere I checked they were $399 with free shipping for the winch.

This is the part where I am confused because what will the winch mount to?
