UWS is a good product. I bought the narrow version and it is perfect for me.

I ordered a UWS 69in low profile box, which is what UWS said would fit, but it is not wide enough. So, I am looking for something low profile, and slim so it doesn’t take up too much of the bed. What is everyone else using for a bed mounted toolbox? I need some ideas, please.

I know I am late to this thread but I have the truxedo toneaumate. it sits about 6-7 inches above bed floor and stays below the bed cover.

If I didn't have a bed cover I wouldn't recommend it. its made of rubbermaid rigid plastic. its strong but I imagine would be easily broken into. the fact that its covered by the bed cover is what makes it worth it to me. Makes sense why its advertised as a toneau mate. name says it all
