Look , Im sure its for a great cause. I dont want to rain on anyone's parade but I don't know a single Navy Seal that would drive that. Since I don't know a single Navy Seal then I'm pretty much talking out of my ass.

Can't remember the cause, but I read somewhere that the people behind this are building four separate themed vehicles to auction off....

Scratch that...eight vehicles.

A favorite at the 2014 SHOT Show Media Day was the OPERATION RAPTOR truck. It is a 2013 Ford Raptor SVT with a custom paint job air brushed by Mickey Harris. It commemorates the US Navy SEALs with images from WWII to today. It is the first of 8 limited edition trucks featuring different US military units and themes.

The mission of OPERATION RAPTOR is to raise awareness for the ongoing needs of the critically injured Special Forces Community and for all of our active duty veterans and their families.

For more information, more amazing images and the other trucks that will be in this series, check out the OPERATION RAPTOR website.

I saw this being towed down the strip Tuesday morning. In person you have to admire the quality of work. It looks like they dipped it in clear coat and the art work is amazing.. However... The green really slaps you in the face, I wouldn't want it nor do I think it's attractive... Another however, I very much respect and appreciate the hard work, hours, money and effort that was donated and put in to this and or all of the vehicles to honor and support the ones who deserve it.

That's something that irritated me, these things are covering all branches or whatever but they are only funding special forces? is that the case or does the organizer not know what special forces is? cause that is just an army organization, I think they mean special operations forces, and if they don't know that, how integrated are they actually with the sof community?

Ford has been making a Navy Seal model Raptor since 2010...it's called buying the black one.

My Public Safety Rescue Dive Instructor was a retired Navy Seal, great guy. I think he would agree with driving black.
