Just in case anyone is wondering, i recently installed a NAVTV module in my 2014 and I have to say it was EASY!!!

The directions lead you to believe that a ton of soldering is required but the ONLY connection needing to be soldered is the one for your front camera. Past that it was literally plug and play.

Note: If following installation your rear differential is permanently locked and 4x4 system is not working then take a deep breath. Following the deep breath, disassemble your dash and plug in the connector that feeds your 4x4 knob. I learned that the hard way.

Thanks for the update.

I read a little on the FIM Lockpick, but I'm pretty sure that I want to go with the Nav-TV.

How do you activate your front and rear cameras?

the units made last year for the 13s you had to cut a bunch of wires. now they came out with the new plug n play harness, so all you need to interface is the front camera wire.

in the truck apps, you can turn your front camera on anytime. to activate the rear camera, double tap the rear defroster. you can double tap again to toggle between front and rear, except while in reverse. then the rear camera takes priority

I've got one of the '13 units that require all the cutting. Any way to get one of these plug and play harnesses for the last model?

Is there any way to use a toggle switch or an aux switch for the cameras?
