I have a gas smell inside the cab of the truck. Starts about 3 minutes after driving. Doesn’t matter if driving on freeway or around town. Dealer had it for two days and checked all hoses and tubes for leaks and found nothing. No visible leaks. Dealer confirmed they could test drive and could smell the same thing.

Got the truck back and it still smells when you drive.

It’s worrisome to smell gas when driving around. Any ideas of what it could be? I’m thinking I may get some gas detectors in my car to make sure it is safe.

Well if you can rule out pissed ex girlfriend, jealous neighbor or friend that likes to play jokes and works for the gas company with access to mercaptan or rotten eggs then it might be a bad or dirty cat . Don’t get me started about ford dealer service departments most the techs road the short bus and licked the windows ( they suck ) .
