N-Fab Pre Runner for 14 Raptor

I ordered the Pre Runner a week ago, it came in yesterday and I mounted it up. I installed LED lights and it looks good. Function is a completely different issue. The points at which they (N-Fab) designed it to mount to are not up to the task of a bar with such mass. The bar vibrates and shakes with the slightest bump, making the light bounce around with a near strobe effect. I contacted N-Fab via email, received a call from David and he seemed genuinely concerned. I told him about something on another forum showing a bracket that had to be fabricated to fix the issue, he replied that should not be necessary. He asked for photos, I supplied a photo and a video (just bumping it with my hand to show the movement). Followed by a call to confirm receipt.

I then received an email just minutes ago from David "Scooter",

I took this to R&D’s attention and unfortunately it sounds that they have made changes to a thinner bumper plate and without the 15’s out it isn’t something we have visited to make adjustments yet. You mentioned that there is a fix that you read about and you should go in that direction. Let me know if you have any questions.

I had the same issue with my defiant pre-runner light bar. It used to have round lights on it and I had cut the tabs off, welded supports and tabs for 2 30" led light bars. It looks fantastic and doesnt vibrate at all. Its solid enough to sit on.

pretty lame of them. File a charge back on the credit card for a defective product. He basically admits it's a design flaw in the email but they haven't bothered to fix it. Have them cover the cost of shipping it back if they want it back. Ford racing bar works great btw.

I found they have had this issue back in 2012 and never corrected it. Found a fix in another forum, but need to weld up new braces.
