I will be using it here on the east coast a majority of the time so I don't think it will be exposed to the temperature extremes you were dealing with other than the occasional trip to see my friend in NM.Speaking of heat issues, have you tried improvising some sort of heat sink on the mount to draw and dissipate the heat away from the tablet? Or maybe some heat reflective material?
