My Black Eye in Anza-Borrego

So after having my Raptor for 1.5 months, I finally made it out to Anza-Borrego. I had a blast and the truck held up like a champ. There were two things I wanted to do, 1. Get it sideways at speed, and 2. Jump. I did both. After taking small jumps, I decided to go big or go home, and I wasn’t ready to leave yet, so I went for the gusto. Unfortunately, I didn’t get it on video. So I hit the whoop doing about 40mph and it flew, mental note…don’t hit high-speed whoops or you might nose dive into the dirt and bend up your bumper. But it was fun and the damage was only cosmetic. Here is a video my girl took after the "incident."

Glad you got a chance to take your Raptor to the desert. We've had a lot of great times in Anza-Borrego in our Raptors.

Jumping a 6,000 pound truck is not for the faint of heart and there can be serious repercussions doing it. Glad to hear your damage "was only cosmetic".

Next time your girl takes videos of you driving your Raptor you might want to make sure you don't head towards her
