Message: <blockquote data-quote="stewwalker" data-source="post: 862363" data-attributes="member: 12781">I have been scouring the interwebs for a good solution for mud flaps for the Raptor.  So far I have seen them mounted two ways.  The popular mounting option is self tapping them into your fender.  The other solution I have seen is putting threaded rivets in the fender and bolting the mud flaps on when needed.  Both of these mounting solutions work, but I am looking for a mounting option that doesn't involve putting holes in my fender flares or fender liners.  Personally I don't like the idea of having holes in an area where dirt, sand and water will accumulate, and I don't want to put unnecessary holes in a $50,000+ vehicle.  I'm curious if anyone els has come up with a better solution.  I have been looking at rally armor and really like the way their kits mount onto cars, but they don't offer anything for a Raptor.  I also like the way the running board extensions mount, but don't like that they cant support weight because I know some one will eventually step on them.Am I looking for an uninvented product?  Is it possible to mount mud flaps using existing holes and bracketry?Give me some input.  I think a quality mud flap is something many raptor owners would be interested in.  I might have to get out some sheet metal and fab something up.</blockquote>
