I know some of you guys are familiar with Mustang Racing Technologies (MRT) from a Mustang part supplier and performance shop.
A few months ago I worked with them to develop a Raptor Exhaust system.
After a few months, I can say I am very happy with the system. It gives a deeper tone during idle and start up to let you know you actually have a 6.2L engine under the hood, unlike the stock system.
MRT offers the system in both a 14" and 18" muffler option. I have had both systems on my truck for evaluation.
The 14" option is more aggressive and gives you the increase in sound and improved tone over the stock muffler / system at idle, cruise, and WOT.
I would give the drone score a 3 out of 10 (1 no drone, 10 unbearable).
The 18" option is more of a touring type system, you get better tone and volume over the stock system, but this offers a more "mature" offering. On the throttle you hear a more aggressive tone, but not as noticeable on start up or idle. Drone rating here is 1 out of 10.
Both system bolt on after the OEM resonator, to avoid the Ford proprietary flange after the exhaust manifold. Both system also include MRT's Drone Management System, which is an additional resonator to smooth out the tone and minimize drone.
MRT can also customize a system for you, as it is fixture built (flanges for cutouts or other options if requested. Built in Plymouth, MI with USA 304 Stainless Steel.
This is a drive by from one of the RX events

I will have to work on other videos for you guys.
(Sorry if is sounds too "salesy, but wanted to lay out all the information for you and of course plug MRT a bit because of all the projects they help me out with)
