Moonrise over Hunter Mountain Death Valley, CA

I took this shot last night as we (bstoner59, OUTCAST & OUTCAST Jr, and I) summited Hunter Mountain during our Death Valley run. I've made this trip before, but never before at sunset. It was absolutely gorgeous up there at 7100ft as the blues and whites of daylight gave way to the yellows, oranges and purples of night.

BEAUTIFUL. I wish I was out west with you guys. I'll look into taking a couple weeks off work and doing a trip out that way in the summer for a run.

Good timing, that's about the time I'll be back stateside. I'm living in Phoenix and I had been talking to Big J about getting some kind of run together around that time. So hopefully we can make something happen.

Oh that won't be a problem. I have plenty of time to day dream about making runs in the truck when I get home while I'm out here.
