Moisture Inside Rear Cab After Rain

I have a 2014 Screw with about 85k miles that I purchased used from a dealership about 8 months ago. In the past 2-3 months approximately I’ve noticed moisture stains and water spots on the rubber mat inside the rear cab after it rains (the truck is parked outside). I’ve felt around the headliner and sunroof after noticing this but it’s never felt wet to me. The moisture is only ever present on the mat inside of the rear of the cab, not anywhere else in the truck.

Has anyone experienced this before or have any ideas as to what could be causing it? I’ve attached some pictures of the moisture for reference.

Yup sunroof would be first guess and other possible ones are 3rd brake light and rear window seal (less likely)

So I actually tested the sunroof drains a month or so after I got the truck after reading some posts on here about them. Everything drained back properly then, but I’ll try it again to see if there’s a back up somewhere. I do park under oak trees so it’s definitely a possibility.

I’ll check the third brake light and rear window too. Could weatherstripping around the door jambs possibly cause it as well?

Easiest way to find a leak is get inside with flashlight and have someone spray cab with hose at suspect areas.

If it’s clogged sunroof drains, what is actually happening to cause the moisture? Is it running over the drain channels and onto the headliner, then dripping to the floor?

Yeah. my lines were clear but the tray had a crack which caused the leak under a heavy rain.

Not bad, i dropped the rear part of the liner and I used a gasket maker/sealer to fix it. Been fine over a year now. Also used little zip ties to make sure the hoses didnt fall off, Maybe a bit overkill lol

Nice. How did you notice it was leaking? Did you have the same symptoms I’m getting?

It‘s odd to me that I don’t feel any wetness or see any staining in the headliner if that’s where it’s coming from. Although it is a black liner so seeing stains might be difficult.
