Mid Perch --Goes Snap

I'm a newbie....thanks. wanted to see if anyone has experienced going to mid perch and having the shock clamp snap.
It happen to me this evening after picking up my truck from the shop.

Thanks weird calling the dealership too see if all is ok and the off road shop is picking it up tomorrow and fixing it...

What exactly snapped? The perch slid down over the ring?

I'm interested in this too. did the ring break? or did it slide down to the bottom perch?

I had issues at midperch with the suspension not moving at all, Curious what actually broke here.

I can't imagine the ring snapping so I gotta assume it was not ceded completely into the groove and slid down??

I agree, even if the set screw wasn't tight, the blue collar fits over the ring so it wouldn't be able to come out or the groove. Had of never been in the groove to start with after the adjustment
