Gabriel brought his Raptor in for some new tuning and to help fix some exhaust leaks on his ARH system. He had been chasing the exhaust leaks for some time and had another shop attempt the job but no luck. We pulled the headers down and discovered the weld that held the tubes to the flanges had given up and cracked. This created a leak at nearly every cylinder where the header attached to the cylinder head. So we welded all the way around each tube at the flange, where ARH just tack welded them from the factory. This solved the issues and we were able to face the headers and re-install them with out issue! They sealed up nice and tight with no leaks. After this issue was resolved we put the truck on the dyno. Gabriel's truck last time here made just over 500 RWHP. Since then he added a Ford Racing throttle body and we updated his tune file from some stuff we had learned over the past year. We ended up making 556 RWHP and 546 TQ!! This is with our standard 650 HP kit, Cobra Jet Throttle body, and Full exhaust. The cool weather played a little part in the power numbers as we usually see 530-540 for these some modifications.
Here are some pics of what we did with the header tubes and his new dyno graph!
