Hi folks,

So I have a black raptor. I currently have black method NV's on it and have for about 2 months. I've put about 2500km on them but I find myself losing interest in them quickly.

Has any one else felt this way? I do love the look of the wheels and especially the all blacked look but I can't seem to put my finger on it.

I'm too the point where if someone wanted them I'd swap them out and sell them immediately for a great price (HINT). I may swap them back anyway but I am looking for some opinions.

I know I will get "run them" from anyone with wheels and "stock" from those who chose to keep stock but I'd like to hear why you feel this way.

I'm not real sure, I think I like the flat face profile of the stock rim that I like. I can't quite put my finger on what it is. I just kinda Miss the stockers...

Worst case I will swap out the stock for winter and most likely won't end up putting the methods back on. It's not a quality thing, the novelty just kinda wore off.. Maybe I jumped the gun buying them? The methods are really the only after market wheel I like on e raptor.

Good luck because none of what you just said makes any sense to me  To me a nice set of aftermarket wheels is the single best appearance mod you can do. The change in stance makes it look much more balanced and aggressive but that's just me.

Unfortunately I agree lol. I love wheels on trucks and the stance is mean. How does everyone feel about powder coating my factories matte black? Anyone have pics of this ?

I am not sure how well the powder coating would hold up...think about line-x?

I've seen the stock wheels flat black, look better than the gloss black with machined trim. Methods look good and weigh less than stock. Fuel wheels look good but weigh more than stock.

you need some beadlocks. Maybe walker evans, KMC enduro's, RACELINES or even ATX SLAB's

I recall someone plastidipped their stock wheels black. I can't remember who though. Looked a little "wonky" IMHO.

my thought is that it may be the lack of contrast your truck probably has now. i am not a fan of the all black look. a bit of contrast here and there is ****, all one color is just not for me. it looks bland IMO. maybe thats what u are starting to feel...
