Never said power was the problem. Towing capacity and a vehicle designed to tow heavy loads was the reason for my recommending a powerstroke. Capish?

My boat/trailer weighs 7,200lbs. As recommended by Ford, I bought a weight distribution hitch and it works great - sag is less than 2 inches

Do you have photos of how it sits? My girlfriends family has a 6700LB camper I’d like to pull up north and they do have a weight dist hitch. I’d like to see how your truck sits. How does it feel with all that weight behind it ?

As long as it's under 8,000lbs and he's using a WD hitch, no need to upgrade to a different truck. Getting a Super Duty to tow 8K occasionally would be overkill.
