Matching stock hood graphics

Does anyone know what brand/type of vinyl is used on the factory hood decals? I am thinking of extending the factory hood vinyl down to the grille.

Personally, I would peel off the factory decal and replace it with one sporting the FRF logo. Just thinking outside the box. Hell, you could probably write it off come tax time.

The guys who made mine use some new 3M stuff that the sign shop that did my install said is much better than any factory stuff, supposed to be stronger and UV resistant, I guess time will tell

haha that would be pretty cool to put the FRF logo on the hood along with the raptor logo.

as for brand or type of vinyl they use im not sure but they're pretty tough but i'd want something a little tougher if your gonna go all the way down to the grill to protect from chips and dings. just in case you get a rock up that high haha you dont want it to go all the way through the vinyl. just get the whole hood wrapped and see if they can make it like the hood graphics.

Bird , I don't know the exact type...but if you go to 3Ms site I think you can get samples of the AVERY vinyl...I got the matte black and it matches up damn close to the factory...

I am no expert on vinyl but, I have seen where the same color looks different from different batches...my point is I think you will play he'll to match the color even if you find the exact same color...
