Hello,

It is cold outside about 15 degrees and today - as I was driving - I noticed that the Low Pressure Tire indicator popped on the display - and then the small icon remained there. There is no difference in driving at all. At home I checked the pressure in each tire and it is 36 PSI. Is it possible that something else triggered the popup notification? Anybody else experienced something like this?

Appreciate any related feedback.

Best, GTC

here, on frf
air condenses at colder temps (equals lower pressure) . as you drive the air inside your tire will heat up causing it to expand therefore more pressure. being aired down so low, you are on the threshold of the sensor activating the pressure light so any difference in temps can cause this to happen. i would air them up a bit anyways.

I topped mine off at 44 psi and the light is still on. I haven't drove it, but the light is on when I start it. Do you need to drive it for it to reset?

Yes usually just a couple miles. I think they say up to 5-10

It should would be nice to have individual tire pressure monitors in the display instead of an idiot light. Not sure how my 2008 Jeep had it but a 2012 Ford doesn't....

Other things that can affect TPMS ...
Some aftermarket devices can cause radio frequency interference that will block the TPMS sensor signal causing an intermittent concern. This can cause the TPMS lamp to illuminate. Some of the more common items are: cell phone chargers, GPS power supplies, or any other aftermarket electronic device. Unplugging the aftermarket devices can help determine if they are the cause of an intermittent concern.

Well I increased the PSI to 38 and the indicator is still on. I also have a pair of LED's (24W x 2)hooked up on the #4 outfitter...but I do not believe this will create interference to trigger the TPMS...

And yes - like somebody here mentioned - I also picked up the beast at dealership with 36PSI.
